Memorial Private School has instilled a love of learning for our daughter, and after previously attending other schools, she finally feels as though she has found a home at Memorial. The school’s curriculum is geared to each student, the class sizes are small, and the learning environment is very inclusive. — Matt and Beth, Parents
Rolling Admissions
For the convenience of our students, we offer rolling admissions based on space availability during the academic school year. Unlike most public and private schools, as an independent private school, we are able to offer small classes and an individualized approach. We are able to manage and monitor student progress closely, alleviate stress, and integrate new students easily.
Students seeking an alternative to large public and charter schools, private schools, parochial schools, and homeschooling, often find MPS is just the right fit. Whether you are relocating or need to transfer schools, contact us.
Memorial Private School is accredited by Cognia/SACS, AdvancED. This enables students are able to transfer credits from other schools. Our academic classes are all fully transferable. We make admissions simple for families, so contact us to begin the process.
Admission Criteria
At Memorial Private School, we seek to enroll students who will fully benefit from the calm culture and research-based education we provide. We are open-minded, but selective during the application process to ensure our school is a solid match.
We look at each individual when determining admission and we have a strong record of success with a broad spectrum of students that fall within our mission. In particular, we stand out and shine in educating students who are highly motivated to make a change, possess unique gifts or talents, and students needing a lower stress learning environment.
We accept a small percentage of students with mild to moderate learning issues; and we may require 504 or IEP documents to make a final determination. Please note that we are not equipped to accept students with current legal issues, drug/alcohol, major psychological issues, or significant behavioral or disciplinary issues.
Academic Promise: College bound students tend to perform extremely well with our extended support and college planning services. While over 95% of our graduates typically matriculate to public and private colleges or universities, some students do choose different paths following graduation.
Good Citizenship: Students without significant disciplinary or unexcused attendance issues are encouraged to apply.
High Commitment: We only admit students who are dedicated and committed to our high standards.
Memorial Private School is by far the best experience I have had at a high school. Memorial Private School is a stress-free zone.” — Gabe, Student
