My favorite thing in the day at Memorial Private School is lunch. All the way through seniors, the students just play old-fashioned games – like lots of ping-pong (MPS has five tables), four-square (even though the students are so ‘old’), volleyball, soccer, pickleball, basketball at lunch and end of the school day, – also including apples to apples, other games, enjoying porch swings in the back yard full with kids, and they play hard with the dogs and hang out with the teachers. They socialize. No one leaves the campus.

You can’t hide at Memorial Private and that can be the most important learning opportunity. The small number of students makes the difference and it is so beautiful because people know your name, they learn about each other and how each of us are unique. They do not have to try to be all the same.

We care about your child in every way. Healthy socialization, kindness, and physical activity is great for the brain and life. Because of lunch, I picture their future in their real jobs as an adult who is comfortable and engaging. I can see them working well with their co-workers, with their neighbors, joining social groups, and church. The little gem planted in their brain from lunch time at Memorial Private School makes a big difference.

Be sure to check out the school and let your friends know. It is very different from most schools, and also a superb ‘regular’ high school.
